Currently, Rudy is being cared for at Stealing Hearts Rescue, where his affectionate and athletic nature has made him a favorite among staff and volunteers.

Life hasn't been easy for this energetic pup—Rudy's journey has seen him abandoned not just once but twice, and even left to fend for himself at the city landfill. Amazingly, Rudy's spirit has remained unbroken, and he’s ready to share his big heart with someone who will offer the forever home he deserves. Since arriving at our shelter, Rudy has blossomed. His happy-go-lucky personality shines every day, and he thrives on regular exercise—whether it’s walks, hikes, or runs, Rudy is the perfect fitness partner. With his playful attitude, he gets along well with other dogs, especially female companions, and enjoys playtime with his shelter friends. Rudy is house trained, doesn’t have accidents in his kennel, and absolutely adores meeting new people. While he’s not a fit for homes with cats or small animals, Rudy is eager to find a family that will help him continue his journey toward the joyful life he’s always deserved.
