Meet Penguin Born 12/11/2025 Medium Size Expected Penguin is a sweet, soulful little guy with a gentle personality and a heart full of promise. He's part of the same litter that was rescued alongside his mom and siblings from unsafe outdoor conditions just before freezing weather set in. Thanks to quick action and a loving foster home, Penguin is now safe, warm, and thriving. Penguin is doing exactly what a puppy should be doing - eating well, growing stronger, and learning that humans can be kind and dependable. His houndy features and curious nature make him especially charming, and his calm, affectionate demeanor shines more each day. He has started his vaccinations and is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Penguin will be neutered by Take Paws at six months of age and will be available for adoption starting the second week of February. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
