About Hiccup

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Hiccup, also known as Hicks or Huggy Boy, an adorable Labrador Retriever/Heeler mix puppy. As his nickname suggests, this affectionate pup loves to snuggle and is always up for a hug. He is the brother of Bugs, who was recently adopted, and just like his sibling, Hiccup is a calm puppy with a medium energy level, making him perfect for those looking for a balanced companion. Hiccup is very social and gets along with every dog he has met so far. He is smart and a quick learner, which makes training a breeze. Hiccup is already leash trained, crate trained, and is making great progress with his potty training. Currently weighing about 35 lbs, this little guy is expected to reach 50-60 lbs when fully grown. His resilience shines through as he was rescued from a vineyard after being abandoned as a baby, and now he’s thriving thanks to the care he’s received. He is fully up-to-date on his vaccinations (including rabies, DAPP, lepto, and bordetella), has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and is on regular parasite prevention. Hiccup is currently being fostered in Nevada County and is ready to find his forever family. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
