About Hugo
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Hugo is a happy, affectionate, and fun-loving pup who is sure to bring joy wherever he goes. With his gentle, cuddly nature and playful streak, he will easily become the heart of your home. Hugo enjoys bursts of play throughout the day but is just as eager to settle in for some quiet snuggles—his medium activity level makes him suitable for families who enjoy both active outings and peaceful downtime. In foster care, Hugo gets along wonderfully with other dogs, showing respectful and kind behavior with pups of all ages and sizes, including gentle play with the tiniest friends. He’s been exposed to cats and generally ignores them, making him a good fit for dog-savvy feline companions. Hugo builds strong bonds with his humans and thrives around older children (13+) who understand his need for space and boundaries. His days are filled with playing with doggy pals and cuddling up with those he loves most. This sweet, resilient boy is both house trained and crate trained, settling into his crate easily at night and napping quietly during the day. On-leash, Hugo is calm and walks without pulling. Continued structure will help him adapt to his forever home, but he is a quick learner with a loving temperament. Hugo's loving personality and good manners make him the perfect companion for a caring family ready to welcome him home. Will you be the one to give him the love he’s been waiting for? As a fun fact, Hugo was born under the sign of Aries—known for being energetic and enthusiastic! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
