About Sparrow
Start your journey together! Apply now. The stunning pure white Siberian Husky is one of the most eye-catching dogs around. While sometimes referred to as albino Huskies, they’re renowned for their friendly, gentle, playful, and high-energy personalities. Instead of buying, you could change the world for this shelter dog by providing him with the loving home he deserves. Sparrow, a resilient 4-year-old male of medium build from Cranston, RI, has traveled an incredible journey. After being abandoned, patient staff, volunteers, and trainers helped him move past his distrust of people. Although he can still be cautious with strangers, Sparrow becomes incredibly loyal and affectionate once a bond is formed. Outdoorsy adopters will be a perfect match—Sparrow lights up when he’s outside, whether it’s running, playing, hiking, or just relaxing in the fresh air. He’s a natural in cold and snowy settings and is comfortable traveling and walking on leash. Sparrow receives several hours a day of dedicated attention from volunteers and proves to be very smart and eager to learn. He delights in energetic playtime with other dogs and would thrive with a compatible canine sibling, especially one who offers a steady presence as a role model. Having spent over a year in the shelter, Sparrow truly deserves his new beginning. Being kenneled makes him anxious and reactive, but outside the kennel he continues to open up each day. He will do best with a patient, experienced adopter willing to give him time to adjust and the support he needs to feel safe. His perfect home offers a daily routine with plenty of outdoor activity, patience as he adjusts, a calming adult-only atmosphere without kids or cats, a friendly canine companion, and a large fenced yard or land to roam. In exchange, Sparrow promises to be a devoted friend and the ideal partner for outdoor adventures. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
