This sweet pup is one of six siblings who came to us after being born in Eastern Washington and left to fend for themselves far too young. Thankfully, kind people stepped in and got them to safety. After completing their two-week quarantine and receiving their spay/neuter surgeries, their temporary foster could no longer keep them - leaving them with nowhere to go. An independent rescuer reached out asking if we could help, and even though our rescue is already full, our amazing fosters stepped up so these puppies wouldn't be without a safe place. Now healed, loved, and thriving, this pup is officially ready to find their forever family. Meet Petey - the biggest pup of the bunch and the life of the party! Petey is approximately 15 weeks old. He weighed 15.2lbs at his neuter appointment, Petey is a goofy, energetic boy with a heart of gold. He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give him about ten minutes - and maybe a treat or, even better, a toy - and you'll quickly see his fun, silly, outgoing personality burst through. Petey absolutely LOVES to play. In fact, if no one is ready to play with him, he'll let you know exactly how he feels about it. He is constantly barking at his brother Snoopy because Snoopy won't play with him on demand. His vocal opinions are hilarious and incredibly endearing. While Petey is definitely more active and spirited than his brother, when he finally crashes... he crashes hard. He becomes the sweetest snuggle bug, curling up in a cozy blanket on his foster mom's lap and melting right into the cuddles.
