About Titan

Meet Titan. He arrived at Watertown Animal Control after being rescued from a hoarding environment and is the embodiment of a driven German Shepherd. There’s nothing he loves more than a good game of fetch—he’s always up for chasing a ball and bringing it back with focus. Titan thrives in an active setting but also has a softer side, happy to wind down by your feet at the end of the day. While Titan is friendly with people and eager to please, he’s still figuring out how to just enjoy being a dog and settle into normal routines. He’s not house trained yet and will need daily structure and consistent training from someone who knows the breed inside and out. Titan isn’t suited for homes with cats or other dogs. Previous experience with Shepherds is non-negotiable for adoption, and the rescue requires that adopters commit to hiring a professional trainer to ensure Titan gets the guidance he needs. Titan was born April 16, so he’s an Aries—expect independence and boldness. Ready to help Titan become the dog he’s meant to be? Click apply to start the adoption process.
