Astro’s story started out rough—he arrived at rescue with a torn ACL, but you wouldn’t know it watching him now. He’s all about energy, joy, and love. Now fully healed after surgery (confirmed by x-rays and some pretty thorough vet checks), Astro can finally run and do what he loves most: play. He’s a real ball-chaser, obsessed with toys, and will throw himself into solo play if you’re busy, but honestly? He much prefers having a furry or human friend for company. Sociable and affectionate, Astro gets along with everyone except cats; he’s reactive around them, so cat-free homes only. Astro is absolutely high energy, and daily walks are a must—he thrives when he’s got things to do, so puzzle toys or Kongs in his kennel are a good idea. He can be trusted on a leash, too: even his foster’s six-year-old daughter has no trouble walking him around the block.
