Charlotte and Amelia have had a very rough life. They came from a hoarder house where they had to battle for food and space. When their caregiver died, the house was left abandoned with 50 cats inside and these girls were two of them. Amelia came out pretty quickly but Charlotte hunkered down in the ceiling rafters for weeks before she came out. The girls clung to their beds in their cages upon arrival to our rescue and would shake when I touched them but after a few weeks of continued affection, the girls became avid muffin makers and even started showing us their tummies. It’s really interesting that they look nearly exactly alike! While they aren’t necessarily bonded, we would really love them to be able to venture into their next chapter of life together since they have experienced so much trauma. They’re both about 2 years of age and get along with other animals. They also are very healthy and have 0 health issues since their arrival.
