Meet Muta (Moo-tuh). As you can see from the photos, he is very expressive! He was living in a hoarder house with 50 other cats when his caregiver passed away leaving the cats with no food or water for days. This poor boy was hiding in the ceiling rafters for a long time before we trapped him. He is distrusting of people and has taken a long time to trust us but recently he has been letting us pet him and he even chirps and meows at us when it comes time for wet food. Mute is a big hunk and gets along with other cats well. He is 2 years old and fully vetted. He needs someone who understands the trauma he's been through and is willing to take it slow and talk to him daily. This sweet boy will surely blossom in a home.
