About Matilda
Matilda is a 7-year-old Cocker Spaniel with a gentle spirit and bubbly charm. After life as a stray, she has found comfort and happiness in her foster home, where she's eagerly soaking up care and attention. Her playful wiggles and affectionate nature come out when she’s around people, and she lights up when she’s with her foster family—it's clear she's relieved to feel safe at last. Matilda does beautifully with other dogs and greets everyone she meets with warmth and easy joy. She’s currently being treated for an ear infection and dry eye, with a dental cleaning and spay scheduled soon, but her care needs are simple and she's responding well. Matilda weighs about 27 pounds and is working on slimming down to a healthy weight for her small frame. Her medium coat shows off a blend of red, chestnut, and cream. Matilda will thrive in a loving home that can offer her the attention and devotion she's been missing. She is wonderfully affectionate, gentle, and ready for a new beginning.
