Meet PETEY! Petey is about 35 lbs and between ~2.5-3 years old. Petey is the ABSOLUTE BEST dog in so many ways! He's an easy going, loving guy who is great with all people and dogs and would make an excellent active companion. He is good with kids and has been child tested. The foster’s nephew who is 6 years old comes over frequently and Petey ADORES him! Please see photo! He is good with other dogs. He gets along with his several foster siblings and has also been around other dogs at the dog park in a regular basis. He is playful with all of the pups he’s met and he's never had an issue with them. Petey is also house trained. He’s currently living in an apartment, is taken out at regular intervals and does not have any accidents inside. He is equally fine in a crate or free roaming in the home. He is not always crated with the current foster, but when he is, he is fine in it and doesn’t have any separation anxiety or make noise. He will get into the crate when instructed. He also is fine not being crated and left alone and does not destroy anything in the home. He walks well on a leash! Walking and being outside is one of his favorite things! He is more on the energetic side so he would be a great walking or hiking buddy! Despite his higher energy, he loves cuddling up with people on the couch or on a cozy blanket and having snuggles and pets.
