Meet Mama June From the streets to the sheets Mama June is a resilient, soulful girl who has overcome more than most — and come out the other side with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. June came into rescue pregnant and in need of help. With the right care and a safe place to land, she delivered her puppies and focused on what she does best: loving deeply and learning what safety feels like. She has since completed heartworm treatment and will need a routine recheck in approximately 7 months to confirm continued progress. Despite her past, Mama June is: Affectionate and nurturing A certified couch/bed snuggler Loyal to her people Thriving in a foster home environment June has shown some dog reactivity in the past while pregnant and freshly moved into her foster home, so any potential canine siblings will require proper meet-and-greets. She is currently doing well with her foster fur siblings and continues to grow more confident every day with structure and calm leadership.
