About June
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet June, also lovingly known as Mama June—a resilient spirit who has transformed from surviving on the streets to thriving in comfort and safety. This soulful girl arrived in rescue pregnant and in need, but with care and kindness, she brought her puppies into the world and devoted herself to learning what true security feels like. June has completed her heartworm treatment and will need a routine recheck in about 7 months to ensure continued health progress. June’s journey has shaped her into an affectionate, nurturing companion who adores snuggling on the couch or bed, remaining loyal to those she trusts. Currently enjoying a foster home environment, she has shown growth and confidence, especially with calm leadership and structure. While she experienced some dog reactivity during stressful times, she now gets along with her foster fur siblings, but proper introductions are key for any new canine companions. Mama June is seeking a patient, loving home with humans who understand that the path to healing takes time. She’s searching for a soft place to land—a forever family where she can finally relax and belong. If you want a dog who will give her loyalty and love every single day, June may be the perfect addition to your home. Fun fact: June was born on June 16, making her a Gemini—known for their affectionate and adaptable personalities! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
