Meet Momo! Breed: (our best guess) Sheltie mix Weight: 49lbs (very overweight at this weight) This sweet guy is ready to find his forever home living the good life! Having spent most of his life as an outside dog, Momo has had limited experience walking on leash, and most of those experiences have been negative. To rebuild his confidence, his foster parents are working on establishing positive associations with wearing a harness and leash pressure, letting Momo set the pace! Though it's hidden under his fluffy coat, Momo has quite a few extra pounds to lose as part of his New Year's resolution! So far, he's loved staying active by romping around and playing tug with his foster brother, and he would love to be in a home with another dog that can show him the ropes! Momo has warmed up quickly to his foster parents, though he is still timid/uncertain. He will thrive in a home with a fenced in yard and patient owners who are committed to helping him continue to gain confidence.
