Chives is a sweet, gentle boy with a soft heart and a quiet nature. Rescued from a colony in Jeffersonville as a baby, he is still gaining confidence and has all the makings of a truly wonderful companion. Once he feels comfortable, Chives loves being petted and leans into calm, reassuring affection. Chives is incredibly gentle, gets along beautifully with other cats, and would thrive in a calm home with a patient adopter willing to help him continue building confidence at his own pace. He absolutely adores spending time with his brother Tux, whose outgoing, playful personality helps bring him come out of his shell.
