About Grandpaw

Grandpaw was discovered during a feral colony relocation after surviving in the woods near a factory, where he relied on dumpster scraps for food. Life outdoors stripped away much of his former confidence, but with time, patience, and the right person, there’s hope for his trust to return. He wasn’t born outside—Grandpaw clearly belonged to someone once, abandoned and left to adapt as best as he could. Despite his rough road, he still melts for a treat and lets people pet him, showing flashes of the house cat he used to be. Grandpaw is FIV positive, which means he’ll need mindful care, but he gets along with other cats and is fully house trained. He’s looking for someone who understands that building trust will take time, and who’s ready to offer him something steadier than the woods behind a factory. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
