Meet Finnie, a delightful 1.5-year-old pup who is all set to steal your heart! 🎉 This sweet boy found himself in a bit of a pickle when his owner faced some tough times, but now he’s ready to find his forever home, and oh, how lucky that home will be! 🌈 Finnie is full of spirit and energy; he just loves to retrieve! In fact, he has a favorite soft toy he joyfully seeks out whenever he’s in the play yard. One of our fabulous volunteers, Heather, couldn’t stop raving about how she played fetch with him; he retrieved his beloved toy at least 20 times during her visit! 🥳 Now let’s get to the good stuff—Finnie may be a tad bit timid at first, but wait until he gets excited! His tail turns into a full-on propeller, wagging away with pure joy! 🚀 And guess what? He’s learning all sorts of commands, especially how to drop his toy so they can throw it and he can go get it again and again. Talk about a smart boy! Finnie has the gentlest mouth when taking treats, and because he's a little underweight at 50 lbs, he definitely appreciates those tasty snacks! 🍖 Believed to be a Lab mix, Finnie definitely has the retrieving gene in spades! 🐕 He’s got plenty of charm and is great with other dogs, although he can get pretty excited when meeting new furry friends. Our volunteers are working diligently with him on his training, and trust me, this eager student is ready to learn—especially if treats are involved! 🍬 And when it comes to cuddles? Oh, you better believe he loves to be petted, especially while he's clutching his toy and inching close to his human friend. Who could resist that adorableness? 🥰 Finnie is discovering that leash means fun, and he’s brimming with potential for joyful adventures! 🌟 All he needs is someone to shower him with love and guidance, and in return, he promises to reciprocate with endless loyalty and affection.
