Howie is a very handsome Red Bone Coon Hound and possibly a mix. He is a big boy with the determination and hunting instinct of a Hound! He is a very sweet and gentle guy who wants to be outside doing a job. Howie and his companion Sara, where left behind by their family at a local kennel, where they have spent months wondering why they are still there. We have spent a lot of time with both dogs and they are so good, well behaved and love people. Howie definitely needs to be with someone who knows the breed, has space to explore and spend time with him. We are estimating his age at about 4-5 years old. Howie has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly heartworm, flea and tick prevention. He will be microchipped when adopted.
