About Kloey

NAME: Kloey Sex: Female Color/Pattern: Black and brown with a Purple tongue! Breed: German Shepherd mix Weight: about 57 pounds Age at intake: ~ 4 years old BDAY approx: ~ June 2020 Intake Date: Jan 25, 2025 Coat length: medium Description Kloey is an easy-going, medium-sized dog in her prime. She is well-mannered, well-socialized, friendly to everyone, and polite. A good first dog for anyone. Personality Kloey is a loving, cuddly dog who likes to snuggle. She would be a great for new dog owners because she is low maintenance and easy. She is a good listener overall and knows some commands. She is house broken and kennel trained, but was only in a kennel with her prior owners when no one was home. In her foster home and otherwise, she is fine being left out to roam the home as she is well behaved. She loves to play with kids, other dogs and squeaky toys. She comes up to you for pets and cuddles, withour getting in your face and is respectful of your personal space. Kloey has exposure to cats, kids, and other dogs and does well with them all. Overall she is a sweet and easy dog who is submissive to other dogs, and gets along to go along! Background Kloey’s prior owners found her on Facebook marketplace when she was around 2 years old. She was from a family who wanted to dump her due to their other dogs not getting along with her. The other dogs would eat her food, take her toys and bully her. She was not in a safe environment, and they wanted to let her go to a new home where she was better off. Her second owner had to relocate to the other side of the country suddenly and was not able to take her with him. He reached out to rescues as he refused to leave her at an uncertain future in a shelter. She was temporarily placed with his inlaws until a GNAR foster home could pick her up.
