About Sapphire
Sapphire came to safety along with her puppies, carrying the street smarts you would expect from a survivor. Once she decides you're worth her trust, she turns into a deeply affectionate, loyal companion whoâs happiest among the people she knows. Around strangers, sheâs a bit reserved, but her sweetness comes through with patience. Crates are her comfort zoneâshe treats hers as a sanctuary, even though sheâs rarely closed in. Outside, sheâs always up for playful romps with other dogs, but itâs important to know sheâs an escape artist who can scale chainlink and will find an exit if left unsupervised. Sapphire needs an adopter willing to take time to earn her love, provide plenty of safe enrichment, and respect the skills she picked up surviving on her own.
