Rusty is a male Cane Corso with a black short coat currently in Fleetwood, PA. He is young, neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. Rusty has special needs related to keeping his leg healthy and would thrive with an experienced, adult-only household. He’s ready for a caring home where someone understands his background and breed.

About Rusty

Rusty had a rough start, dumped at a kill shelter with a broken leg at just eight weeks old. Rescue saved him, and after months of care, he was cleared by the vet—no amputation needed. He needs to stay lean to keep any stress off his leg, but he doesn't let that slow him down. Rusty is shy at first, but once he warms up, he's all goofball: rolling in the dirt, digging, doling out wet kisses, and begging for belly rubs. He’s the kind of dog who lives for outdoor time and has a lot of love to give. Rusty can be selective with other dogs, so a proper meet and greet is required for all resident dogs. Because he’s a Cane Corso, breed experience in the home is a must, and he needs a household that’s all adults (18+). Rusty is waiting to connect with his forever family and fill someone’s home with joy. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
