About Fang

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Fang came to the rescue after a dedicated human noticed he was struggling to eat, only to discover his bottom jaw had been broken in half and one of his signature 'fangs' was protruding. Thankfully, with time and loving care, Fang has healed beautifully and is now doing much better, slowly learning to trust people in his foster home. This large, long-haired orange tabby is still on the shy side and tends to act aloof, pretending he doesn't crave human attention. However, Fang has a soft spot for churu treats—the moment a treat appears, he subtly signals his interest by stretching or moving closer, never demanding but always hoping. He has reached a stage where he will accept gentle ear scratches while indulging in his favorite treat, and enjoys a bit of wand petting when his churu is finished. While he does still hiss if startled or handled too quickly, Fang remains laidback as long as his boundaries are respected. Fang is FIV positive and missing most of his teeth—including, ironically, his famous fang—but he happily munches on kibble. He would do best in a calm, quiet environment with a patient adopter who wants to help him continue blossoming. Fang has coexisted peacefully with other cats in his foster home, showing he can do well with feline friends. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
