Paddie has spent her life searching for the right fit. Born at a mechanic’s lot in Shawnee Hills, she ended up making her way through different homes and a foster care journey that never quite settled. Paddie spent four years in her most recent home, where she struggled with litter box issues and a level of anxiety that was hard for everyone involved. Medication didn’t seem to help, and giving it to her wasn’t easy either—she’s a determined cat, after all. Since returning to Cozy Cat Cottage, her behavior has improved, and she’s shown a real affectionate side, always up for pets. She’s had the occasional squabble with other cats at the center, but her happiest moments come from quiet one-on-one time. Paddie needs a calm, laid-back home, ideally as an only pet, where her quirks are understood and her need for gentle company is met.
