Charlie and her sister Cherie have had a pretty traumatic last couple of months. Losing the only home that they have ever known has been stressful. Their previous family split up, and the family home went into foreclosure. The cats remained at the property, fed and watered daily, until they were rescued the day before the house went to auction. The kind rescuer kept both girls at her house for about a week until space opened up at HOM. Unlike Charlie, Cherie is still a bit shy and not happy to find herself at HOM. She would be happiest and thrive best in a quiet home with no small kids. Once she is comfortable in a new home, all she will want is someone's lap to spend her golden years napping on. Senior cats are usually most grateful souls, once they realize they are safe and loved. **They are not bonded and therefore, do not need to be adopted together. Approx.
