Star
AvailableStar is a young, short-haired, medium-sized tortoiseshell cat living in Memphis, TN. She is around four months old, spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. Star easily gets along with other cats and her personality is growing as she becomes more comfortable with people.
About Star
Star is about four months old and was found abandoned outside with her mom and siblings. She sticks close to her brother Storm and sister Skye; the three are nearly always together, sharing naps and tumbling play sessions all day. Star is the most reserved in the crew and still gets used to being handled, but gentle attention is helping her build trust with people. She is spayed, healthy, and up to date on her vaccinations. Her birthday lands on January 21, which makes her an Aquarius—a sign known for being thoughtful and a little independent. Star does best when she has her siblings or other cats nearby, and she’ll likely become more outgoing with time and patience. She’s available in Memphis, TN, but she can’t go home until after her spay appointment is completed. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Star
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Tortoiseshell cats like Star typically adjust well to indoor environments, preferably where they will receive gentle handling and some quiet spaces to retreat to. They thrive in homes where they can interact safely and gradually with people.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Star, as a domestic cat, is best kept indoors for her safety, but she’ll enjoy window perches or a secure patio. She does not require outdoor space to be happy as long as she has places to climb and play.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Star can adjust to homes with children, especially those who are respectful and gentle. Tortoiseshell cats sometimes need a soft approach, especially if they're initially timid.
