About Goliath
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Goliath is an aptly named big old bubba, weighing in at close to 85 pounds. This lovable giant spent his whole life in one home before arriving at the shelter, and it's clear he's packed with personality and heart. His former family shares that Goliath is both housebroken and crate trained, thrives on toys and car rides, and delights in splashing around in water. He's playful and smart, already knows several tricks, and has a special talent for adorable "awoooooos" in his sleep—his goofball charm is impossible to resist! Shelter volunteers adore Goliath, offering glowing praise for his easygoing nature. He’s quick to learn, follows commands, enjoys praise and affection, and loves checking in with his person while happily doing his own thing. Strong yet gentle, Goliath gets excited for walks and adventures, calmly handles new environments, and loves both running in the yard and soaking in kiddie pools. On hikes, he proves himself a perfect companion, keeping a steady pace and showing politeness on trails. Goliath is tolerant and social when meeting other dogs and would love to meet any resident pups to ensure a good match. Due to his size and playful energy, he may do best in a home without young children. Goliath will thrive with continued training and a structured routine—and promises fun, affection, and loyalty in return. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
