About Bodfish Bo

Start your journey together! Apply now. Bo is a lovable, fun-sized black Lab ready to fill your home with big love and all the tail wags you could ever want. He's a gentle, goofy sweetheart whose heart of gold shines through in everything he does. Bo is a snuggly lovebug who especially adores the ladies in his life, but has so much warmth to share with everyone around him! He does wonderfully with young children, cherishes cuddle time, and is happiest when he’s close to his people. One of his most endearing quirks is his charming, duck-footed stance—just part of his goofy, irresistible personality. Due to the heartbreaking circumstances of his previous owner’s illness, Bo and his brother were surrendered, but Bo has shown impressive resilience, settling into his foster home with grace. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys playtime, though he’s equally content to relax with his people or spend quiet time apart from his brother. If you’re looking for a devoted companion for a family that’s home often, Bo would happily step up for nonstop companionship. Bo does well with respectful children, is house trained, and knows commands like "no" and "sit." He sleeps peacefully through the night and shows restraint with food, waiting patiently for treats. Bo experiences some separation anxiety and prefers open doors and close company, barking only when afraid of being left behind, but never at other dogs or neighbors. He’s gentle, non-destructive, and affectionate—an all-around wonderful family member. On walks, Bo gets excited and does love to pull, but he hasn’t shown any reactivity and is well-mannered for his harness. His activity level is low to moderate; he’s equally happy to lounge on the couch, go for walks, play fetch, or enjoy a swim. Having recently recovered from a toe surgery, he’s healthy and ready for adoption. If you’re searching for a playful, gentle, and loving companion, Bo is ready to find his forever family. Fun fact: Bo is an Aries! Aries pets are known for their playful spirit and boundless energy—be ready for some enthusiastic companionship. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
