Hey pal! My name is Jilly. I am a two-year-old Terrier mix. Around here I am known as the absolute best girl. Spend just a few minutes with me and you’ll see why. First of all, I am incredibly smart. Spring heat builds quickly in Miami and humidity rises. By April, French Bulldogs should be transitioning to early morning or evening walks only. Monitor breathing closely as the combination of heat and humidity is especially hard on flat-faced breeds.

Miami summers are among the most dangerous climates in the US for French Bulldogs. Constant high humidity means their panting is almost useless for cooling. Outdoor time must be limited to brief potty breaks only. Hurricane season adds storm stress to heat stress.
