Brennan is a mature, magnificently stately gentleman who was rescued from the very dangerous streets along with another cat. After years fending for himself, we were not surprised to learn that he tested FIV positive. Upon arrival, it was clear he was in significant discomfort, so his dental care was made a top priority. Once his medical needs were addressed, Brennan began to truly blossom, and our doting volunteers watched this big, handsome boy come out of his shell and show his gentle, loving nature. Because he is FIV positive and he is nearly a senior, it may mean he’ll need a bit more attentive veterinary care over time, but with regular checkups and a loving home, he can thrive just like any other cat. And, speaking of other cats, Brennan has an easygoing demeanor and gets along just fine with other friendly kittymates in his room. He has even been seen having cozy snuggle sessions with his buddies, letting us know that he is perfectly content and relaxed. The reward is immeasurable, keeping his immune system strong while he repays you with his gentle affection, quiet companionship, and all the love his big heart has to give! Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
