Cooper is a large, stunning Old English Sheepdog mix whose gray and white coat and bearded face make him impossible to miss. After losing his first home, he's bounced around, but his upbeat, loving spirit never faded. Cooper can seem reserved when he meets new faces or lands in new places, but underneath is a friendly, fetch-obsessed dog who lights up at the sight of a ball. He’ll drop it at your feet, beg for another toss, and has the kind of stamina only a true herding breed brings. An active household—ideally with plenty of outdoor time and a love of long walks—is his idea of heaven. Cooper adores kids and happily shares his energy with them, though little ones need reminders to respect his space at mealtime. He gets along well with cats and most animals, but male dogs may not be the best match; a home with female dogs (or none) is ideal. He’s fully house trained, smart, and craves structure. Daily brushing and regular professional grooming every couple months are a must to keep his coat in shape and prevent matting.
