Tanner- NEW ARRIVAL! Tanner is available for adoption! BBBR Volunteer Jada writes: This is Tanner! He is an adorably compact little guy. Tanner is recovering from his neuter so we couldn't go for a walk or play just yet. Tanner was calm and easy to leash up in his kennel and he walked nicely to the play yard. He wasn't very food motivated but sought out closeness and affection. While he was kept on lead in the yard, you can tell he has a playful and energetic side to him. He's had a lot of changes recently, having just arrived and recovering from surgery we are continuing to learn more about his personality each day! Come meet this sweet, gentle boy. It won't take long to fall in love with him! Below is information the shelter shared- PERSONALITY TRAITS: Tanner is dog friendly and calm around people. He does well in off leash play groups and could live with another dog in the home. Tanner would benefit from a round of positive reinforcement training to perfect his manners. He is currently working on his leash training. Here is what shelter staff and volunteers have to say about Tanner: Tanner was dumped on the side of the road but provided shelter by an elderly woman who had a private rescue. Now her health issues make her unable to care for all of the dogs in her care. Our rescue had stepped into help her find placements for her dogs do they don’t end up at the local high-kill shelter.
