About Rango
Rango is a young Border Terrier/Border Collie mix with a gentle spirit and a lot of quiet determination. When he first arrived, the world seemed overwhelming and he kept to himself, but he’s started to trust people and notice kindness in daily moments. Rango is still timid and takes his time warming up to new faces, but his curiosity wins out. He’ll inch closer, sniff, and observe, slowly letting out that spark of interest beneath the shyness. He lights up around other dogs—playful and receptive, happiest when bouncing alongside canine friends. Rango’s playful side really shines when he’s in the mix during group play. His ideal home will have at least one confident dog who can help him learn the ropes and remind him that life is full of good surprises. He’s neutered and current on vaccines, and he needs someone who will take things slow, celebrate small wins, and offer patience until he’s ready to fully relax. With time and the right companionship, Rango is ready to come out of his shell and give someone his trust. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Rango
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Rango’s Border Terrier and Border Collie mix generally does best in homes with space to play and owners who are around often, especially those who have past experience with shy or herding breeds.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A medium yard or regular access to a park is ideal for Rango, given his energetic Border Collie side, but daily walks and opportunities to run with other dogs will also keep him happy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Rango’s breeds are often good with respectful children, but because he is timid, a quieter home with older kids or dog-savvy children is likely the best fit.
