About Elysia
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Elysia is a beautiful 1-year-old female Mini Australian Shepherd with striking black and white coloring and a wonderful blend of playful energy and sweet affection. This medium-sized pup loves outdoor adventures filled with exploration and is equally happy to curl up beside you for some cozy downtime. True to her Aussie heritage, Elysia is intelligent, curious, and always aware of her surroundings—she delights in play, being silly, and giving heartwarming kisses to those she loves. She's great on leash, though sometimes a bit eager when something catches her attention, and with a bit of consistency and practice, she'll only get better. Elysia is sociable with other dogs and enjoys their company. She is mostly housetrained and will continue to flourish with a structured daily routine and regular outings. When meeting cats, Elysia still needs some guidance, and because she’s a young herding breed, playful chasing can happen, so a home able to provide patient introductions and boundaries would be best—she may do well with a dog-savvy cat. Elysia is ready to become someone’s devoted adventure partner and an affectionate, engaging member of the family. She is being fostered through Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue in Staten Island. As a fun astrological fact, with a June 10th birthday, Elysia is a Gemini, known for their playful spirit and curiosity, which suits her perfectly. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
