About Safari
Safari landed at the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley with her five kittens, bringing her strong motherly spirit with her. She’s an adult Torbie cat with a short, dense coat patterned in brown, orange, and chocolate. Her expressive green-gold eyes and extra-long whiskers give her an intense, alert look. Petite in build, Safari weighs around 7 lbs but packs a lot of personality—she’s outgoing, quick to make new friends, and truly relishes human company. She gets along effortlessly with other cats, settling in easily even while raising her kittens in care. Now separated from her babies, she spends time in the lively Jungle Room where she’s charming staff and visitors alike. Safari is spayed and vaccinated, with boosters kept up to date and routine worming completed. Her favorite activities include seeking attention, exploring her space, and, when she’s sure no one’s watching, curling up for a nap in her cozy spot. She’s proven herself to be house trained, ready to transition straight into a home life with little fuss. Her birthdate on October 20th gives her those balanced, adaptable Libra traits—she fits easily into the world around her and brings harmony wherever she goes.
