Meet August, the handsome 2-year-old Boxer/Terrier mix seeking his forever home. August here is a 55-pound hunk of love waiting to meet you! He was recently surrendered to our shelter due to no fault of his own and he's now looking to adopt a family who will provide him with lots of love and care. August is not only a boy with good looks, but he also comes with an outstanding personality to match! He is a little more on the bashful side, however, he quickly learns that you're his new best friend and you will be the one he cherishes forever. He enjoys playing with lots of fun toys and galloping around the yard with his clumsy legs. August is energetic and would prefer an active home, however, he also loves to lay with his humans when it's time to relax after a busy day. In terms of potty training, August is a good boy and holds it until he goes outside. August will be available for adoption during our Open Adoption Hours, Friday through Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
