Brandy
AvailableBrandy is a female Boxer/mixed breed living in Sarasota, FL. She’s an adult, about 4 years and 4 months old, and has been spayed. Her vaccinations are all up to date. As a medium-sized dog, she brings a smart, affectionate presence to any home ready to invest in her continued care and training.
About Brandy
Brandy escaped a rough start when her foster mom made sure she got the surgery she needed for a torn ACL. After recovering, she found herself needing a new place once her foster home realized her growing aggression toward their anxious, deaf dog was more than they could manage. They tried to keep her, but the fit just wasn't right, so they turned to Satchel's to help her find a better match. She’s cautious around new people and takes her time before letting her guard down. When Brandy trusts you, her playful streak comes out—she’ll even give you hugs. Out on walks, she’s a pro on the leash and already knows tricks like sit, lay down, and shake. She’s smart—really smart—and listens closely. Petite and quick, she loves a game of fetch and responds well to cues. Brandy may do best as the only dog, given her history with canine housemates, but with the right, calm match, she might accept a doggy sibling. She deserves a home that can continue to show her patience and love. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
