Found severely underweight due to owner neglect, he’s since flourished in foster care and now tips the scale at a healthy 74 lbs; his frame is strong and his coat has filled in beautifully. While he can sprint with surprising speed, Robbie admits he’d rather lounge on the sofa—running mostly just to get back to a comfy nap spot. He’s protective by nature and quick to let strangers near the house know he’s on duty, although his foster family has helped him learn good manners with patient guidance. Robbie is especially comfortable around women and opens up right away, while men will find he appreciates a quieter, gentle approach. He’s lived with older children and done well; younger kids are an unknown. He’s also kennel and crate trained and completely house trained.
