Since he is a recent arrival, staff are spending time getting to know his unique personality and will update his profile as more traits emerge. Interactions with other animals are still pending veterinary clearance, and details about his house, crate, car, or leash training are not yet confirmed. If you feel a connection, you're encouraged to fill out an adoption questionnaire! The adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis, and animals are not held. If Canton isn't the perfect match during your visit, adoption counselors are ready to help you find the right fit. All household members—including children and other dogs—should come along for the introduction to ensure a smooth transition. If everything falls into place, same-day adoptions are welcome! Adoption fees cover spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate shots and preventives, fecal and heartworm testing, and a starter bag of food.
