Having spent several months wandering as a stray before her rescue, Monroe arrived emaciated and in need of medical care. She appears to have recently had puppies, and it's believed she was sadly turned out after she finished nursing them. Despite her rough past, she has blossomed into a truly wonderful companion. Monroe is around five years old and is the picture of grace and resilience. This lovely merle blue girl has adapted beautifully to life indoors—she is fully house trained and completely trustworthy in the house.
