Despite his rough start, this 3 1/2-year-old is incredibly sweet, craves attention, and charms everyone with his desire to shake hands. Currently residing with Giant Paw Prints Inc., Short Rib hasn't yet joined a play group, but his gentle and loving nature shines through. Questions about Short Rib
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
The Great Dane thrives in a spacious home where it has plenty of room to stretch out and relax. While they can adapt to apartment living, their large size means a house with a yard is usually more comfortable for them.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Great Danes benefit from access to a securely fenced yard where they can move around freely. However, regular leash walks and some yard time usually suffice for their exercise needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Great Danes are famously gentle giants and often do well with children due to their calm, patient demeanor. Supervision is recommended because of their size and strength.
