Introducing Tate, the gentle giant of the group! 🌟 He proudly sports a charming white stripe on his nose and forehead that makes him stand out in every adorable puppy photograph. This sweet boy has a heart as big as his personality! Each of these furballs is sociable, loving humans, and is excited to learn all the important puppy things, like how to master their collar and leash, all while being the heartthrobs they are! ❤️ Now, Tate is all set to embark on his adventure: he’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Keep in mind, he’ll need some follow-up puppy shots at 12 and 16 weeks—gotta keep that health game strong! 💪 These pups play well with dogs, cats, and kiddos alike, but remember, training is essential. Housebreaking? You bet! Puppies need guidance, snacks, and some understanding of their cheeky little ways (like those sharp teeth and frequent potty breaks!). Oh, and here’s a fun tip about the 3-3-3 rule: the first three days, focus on settling into their new home; the next three weeks are all about training and bonding; and the first three months? Well, that's when continued socializing and training really kicks in! 📅 Each puppy will come home with a goody bag filled with essential items—collar, leash, toys, chews, and more! Plus, parents will receive important paperwork, including medical records and microchip information. 🐾 Now, a heads up: Save-A-Mutt may require a training contract and a refundable deposit (depending on your experience with dogs). Make sure to start socializing and training the moment those vaccinations are complete at 16 weeks! You’ll need to choose a trainer in your local area, and after completing a fun 6+ week training class, that deposit could come back to you! 💰 Adoptions typically take place in Stanwood, WA, and there aren’t any holds on puppies—applications might be approved in just a few days, so make sure you’re ready to jump in! 🏃‍♂️ If you have plans or anything that may delay your pickup, just let the team know ahead of time. The adoption fee is $525, and remember, Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3, so half of that fee may even be tax-deductible! 🥳 Being a foster-based rescue, there’s no facility to check out, but you must be available for meet-and-greets and adoptions Monday to Saturday.
