About Butter
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Butter is a very gentle and calm boy who absolutely loves eating, playing, and exploring the world around him. He delights in the company of people, always wagging his tail as a sign of his friendliness and often seeking attention by leaning in for affection or playfully walking away to pique your curiosity. Walks are a favorite activity, and Butter is peaceful and friendly with both dogs and cats. Having been rescued from a dangerous situation near a freeway in the countryside, Butter overcame significant hardship and malnutrition before healing with the help of his rescuer and a caring foster home. He is now vaccinated and neutered, and his gentle, amusing personality shines through, earning the affection of other animals and humans alike. Butter especially enjoys treats and meals with a mix of dry and canned food. He’s great with kids, dogs, and cats, and he reads social cues well—even quietly backing off from animals that prefer space. Butter is ready for a forever home with a family that understands the patience and responsibility of welcoming a rescued pet. If you’re drawn to a loyal, loving companion who will bring humor and warmth, Butter would love to meet you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
