About Gretel Grimm

Gretel Grimm Once, not long ago and not far away, there lived a husky named Gretel Grimm who looked as though she had wandered out of a pine forest and accidentally discovered central heating. She kept the mystique. She chose the couch. Gretel is two years old, 52 pounds, and unmistakably storybook-silver-furred, observant, quietly enchanted. She doesn't rush scenes. She waits for them to arrive. She watches before stepping forward, and when she loves you, she does it with intention. No theatrics. Just closeness, warmth, and the steady reassurance of someone who has decided you are hers. She is dog friendly and gracious in shared spaces, happy to pass toys back and forth like a polite guest in a well-kept tale. At mealtime, however, Gretel prefers her own chapter. A quiet corner. A bowl untroubled by plot twists. Even in fairy tales, boundaries matter. Gretel is also heartworm positive-but this is not the looming curse it sounds like. Treatment has begun, the path is clear, and her care will be fully completed even after adoption. This chapter is already being handled. You simply get to write the next one. She is very loving. Very sweet. Kind in the way that feels old and rare. She is the dog who rests her head against your side as if checking you're still here. The one who follows you room to room not because she's worried-but because this is where the story is happening. Gretel Grimm is not chaos. She is not slapstick. She is a well-written fairy tale-soft edges, dark woods behind her, and a peaceful ending waiting ahead. Think darkly charming, not manic. If you've been hoping for a companion who feels less like a gimmick and more like a legend quietly choosing you-Gretel is ready to come home.
