About Bruce Iii
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Brucie is a clever and intelligent beagle with a big heart. This sweet little guy absolutely loves his food—especially chicken and cheese, his top favorites! Brucie gets along very well with other dogs, but when it comes to people, he tends to be quite shy. In his foster home, he quietly observes the other pups receiving affection, and then cautiously approaches for some love himself. While Brucie isn’t a big cuddler just yet—only warming up occasionally—that may change as his confidence grows. When he’s feeling energetic, Brucie enjoys playing with toys, romping around with his canine buddies, and engaging in friendly play fights. Trips to the dog park are a highlight (though currently on hold while he completes heartworm treatment). Brucie listens to commands, is great on a leash (preferring to walk behind the pack), and finds comfort in cozy naps on his bed or the couch. He even ventures onto his foster mom’s bed if the other dogs lead the way! Brucie would thrive in a home with other dogs who can help build his confidence and show him the ropes. With patience and love, he will continue to blossom into a loving companion. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
