About Kai
Aloha! Kai is a 7-year-old orange tabby and white cat with short, soft fur, living in foster care since last April. He was originally supposed to stay temporarily with his brother Koda, but their owner stopped responding, so he’s been with the foster ever since. Kai earns his "Garfield" nickname honestly—his favorite activities are eating and sleeping, and if you leave food out, he’ll find a way to get to it. Other adult cats stress him out, so he’s separate from them and only sometimes tolerates his brother’s company. Kai has some special medical needs to discuss with the adoption counselor. His name means "sea" in Hawaiian, and he’s hoping to “sea” a new home soon. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
