About Colonel

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Colonel – your future furry commander of fun! Colonel is an 8-month-old black beauty with an adventurous heart and playful spirit that shines brightly once he feels secure. While he may be a bit shy at first, a gentle introduction reveals a joyful, spring-toy-chasing kitten who’s sure to bring light and laughter to your home. Colonel was rescued along with his siblings, Big Tex and their mom Jasper, and he truly flourishes with other playful pets. He gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs who appreciate games, chases, and gentle companionship. Colonel’s days are happily spent batting spring toys, showing off acrobatic moves, watching CatTV, and curling up in cozy corners or even beneath the sheets. His favorite playmate is his canine foster sister, and he delights in playing with his feline foster siblings. He would thrive in a home that can offer a calm, gradual introduction and lots of interactive playtime. Colonel prefers a household with a friendly feline companion (no young children, please), and adopting Jasper with him would make his transition even smoother. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and delightfully entertaining friend, Colonel is ready to report for duty! Colonel is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
