Have you ever heard the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears? Here's a little twist on that tale... Goldilocks was recently rescued along with her three little bears — her puppies — all of whom have since been fostered or adopted. And yet, somehow, Goldilocks is still waiting. Unpicked. Unseen. Unknown. She's a lowrider beauty, about 60 pounds, with a gentle, shy nature. Goldilocks is very much a lover girl at heart, but she may be a bit afraid of men and would do best in a calm home where she can decompress and learn what love feels like at her own pace — especially before welcoming any future “dad” figures into her world. Goldilocks was rescued from a basement where she was tied to a pole, sitting in her own urine and filth. Despite the horrific conditions she was forced to endure, when our team arrived to save her, she greeted us with tail wags and play bows, ready for her doggy Uber out of that life. She has already proven how resilient and loving she is. Now she just needs a hero to step up — someone willing to foster or adopt her and show her what the good life is really all about.
