Meet Stella! Stella is a sweet and affectionate 8-year-old senior girl who was surrendered through no fault of her own. Her foster mom absolutely adores her gentle personality—and her funny little tail that looks just like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree! Stella enjoys spending time with her humans, especially relaxing on the bed or curling up next to you on the couch. She’s wonderfully snuggly, but on her terms. She doesn’t like being picked up or carried, and she can get a bit overstimulated at times—nothing a patient, respectful person can’t handle. When she feels understood, she’s an absolute sweetheart. While Stella can live with other cats if needed, she doesn’t really enjoy their company and would much prefer a calm home where she can be the star of the show. An adult-only home or one with older, gentle children would be the best match for her. If you’re looking for a loving, mellow companion who will happily share quiet moments by your side, Stella might be your perfect girl. Stella is currently in a foster home. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
