About Luna
Sweet Luna is a 9-10 month old German Shepherd/Husky mix with a soft, creamy coat and plenty of youthful energy. She’s been thriving in her foster home, especially bonding with the 12-year-old boy—he’s her favorite human, and she follows him everywhere. Luna still shows plenty of puppy mischief and will need continued training and structure, but she’s incredibly eager to learn. She responds best to older kids, so her ideal family has children over 12. While she likes the company of other dogs in theory, she’s dog-selective and does best as the only dog at home. Regular socialization at dog parks is encouraged, as she’s still learning the ropes with doggy playmates. An adopter with big dog experience, who enjoys daily walks and exercise, would be a great fit, since Luna needs both physical and mental activity. She’s house trained, up to date on her vaccinations, and her spay surgery is scheduled soon. Luna is in San Francisco, CA, and ready for a meet-and-greet nearby. Ready to fall in love?
