About Paco
Pacoās story starts with some tough luck, abandoned in an apartment in NYC and brought into the city shelter. There, he kept to himself at first but showed solid manners in his behavior tests. When space got tight, Paco was out of timeāuntil a kind woman stepped up and saved him. Now about 5 years old and weighing around 55 lbs, Paco is a brindle American Staffordshire mix. Heās got a short, easy-care coat and those classic droopy lips you won't forget. Despite his rough start, Paco is fully house and crate trained, picks up routines fast, and knows all his basicsāsit, stay, leave it, and even heads to his bed on command. He excels on leash, though sometimes gets excited and pulls a bit, but is easily redirected. Paco does best with well-balanced dogs, and older kids suit him better, especially since heās strong and naturally protective. New faces and places can take him a moment, so patient introductions are key. Heās athleticāready to join for runs or hikesābut also loves to settle down for a cuddle after a good day. Paco needs someone comfortable with dogs who can give him the structure and reassurance he thrives on. Heās waiting in New York, NY, for someone he can trust and relax with, ready to share his love.
